Tesco in a tent

"If wet, in the marquee..." - Tesco are thinking about having a tent-type temporary building while they build the new superstore at Yate. It would be marquee construction but look like a normal store inside, with heating, air-conditioning and all - very ingenious, and a good way of keeping the supermarket open and the staff employed.

From a customer viewpoint, the main problem during the building works will probably be the parking. Tesco are currently waiting for a decision on its planning application from South Gloucestershire Council.
